Greyhound Bus Killer

This is the most messed up story I have read in a long time! Be careful who you sit next to on your next bus trip...
Police in Winnipeg said Thursday they do not know what triggered a vicious attack on a Greyhound bus the night before that led to the beheading of a passenger.

Witnesses say a man was stabbed to death and then decapitated in what appears to be a random act of violence on board the bus that was en route to Winnipeg late Wednesday.

Arrivederci North End!

After 4 1/2 years of living in the North End of Boston, I'm moving on. It's time to explore what the rest of the city of Boston has to offer! Feel free to stop by my aparmtent this weekend to offer a helping hand...I've got plenty of big boxes that need to be moved into my U-Haul Truck :)
Before I part, it's time to reminisce a little... I've had so many great memories over the past few years of living here, and of course I've captured some below for you:

Ahhh, Here I am at the famous 'Mike's Pastry' on Hanover Street. Oops, I think I screwed up their picture. Actually...I made it better.

And here I am enjoying the sunset over at Long Wharf after going to meet my parents on their sailboat.... Guess I can't meet them on their boat anymore now that I'm not living in the North End :( Such a pity....

Some people claim that 'Mike's Pasty' isnt all that its cracked up to be, and I concur, it's just a big tourist trap!! So that's why I like to hit up 'Modern Pastry' instead! Man, wouldn't you say I was looking rather buff this day?! The gym has been paying off....

The firestation in the North End was my nextdoor neighbor, and those guys are great there! Sometimes they let me get into their gear and go on calls with them. Like last week, I helped save an old lady. She thought her cat was possessed and threatening to kill her...but I talked the kitty out of it and all was good. It's things like this that really make me feel good about myself...

I think I'll miss my walk to work the most because I get to experience Boston's glorious history every morning. From the North End Church following the Freedom Trail to Faneuil Hall, to outside the Old State House where Crispus Attucks' Boston Massacre happened, I walk through it all. Above I am walking by Paul Revere's house, as I do every morning. This picture must be a bit old, my beard is a lot longer now.

Summer's been great in the North End this year, especially with the 2 new North End Parks that opened in the new Rose Kennedy Greenway. I love playing in the fountains. And Yes, that's what I look like with my shirt off. And yup, I'm still single and looking to mingle...

And finally, here's me entertaining the masses as I occasionally do over in Quincy Market. After a long day of work, I stop off here on my walk home to relax and have some fun with my people. Please Note: This is also part of my Tie Guy Collection, titled 'Unicycle Tie Guy'

Zipcar Dispenser

How rad is this idea?! Its a prototype parking structure modeled on a giant PEZ dispenser that doles out cars in lieu of candy! I think it would fit in perfectly in downtown Boston.

The tower will maximize Zipcar's presence in the city, providing a recognizable corporate symbol for the emerging car company in underutilized residual urban spaces.

There are precedents for these sorts of things in Europe. When you buy a Smart Car from some dealers it is dispensed from a giant gumball machine-like container.

And Volkswagon uses something similar at their Autostadt, only theirs is over 20-stories high.
